About the Creator

Alec Nesbitt is an historian and a writer of fiction and non-fiction. Formerly CEO of his own corporate and marketing communications agency in New York, Alec settled in Colorado in 1999. He is the author of “The Sparrow Trilogy” and “The Anonymous Bicycle” among many works.

His education includes a Kinsman Trust Scholarship at Magdalen College School, Oxford, where he specialized in English History and Modern European History. He then became a student of A.J.P. Taylor, the celebrated don of history at Magdalen College, with whom he studied the formation and decline of the German Empire. He holds the Oxford University certificate, with commendation, from the Ruskin School of Fine Art. While at Oxford he began his parallel life as a miniature model-maker with a commission from King George the Sixth which, upon the King’s death, was taken up by Queen Elizabeth II who presented the finished collection to Prince Philip in 1952.
